Saifee Golden Jubilee School put up a fantastic performance in the Inter-School State Championship 2020 (Debanjan Sen Cup 2020) held at La Martiniere grounds in early Feb 2020.

In the Boys category, they earned 65 points and tied for first place with La Martiniere For Boys.

The School also won a record 17 medals in the event.

The event was inaugurated by veteran hockey legend Mr. Gurbux Singh.

In the under 19 category

1. Kaif Ahmed Khan – 1st in the 500m and 800m race
2. Yawar Ejaz – 3rd in the High Jump
3. Shadman Ansari – 2nd in the 110m Hurdles
4. Md. Habib – 2nd in Discus Throw
5. Kaif Ahmed Khan, Sourav Sharma, Syed Zaid Ahmed & Arman Yadav – 3rd in the Relay Race

In the under 16 category

1. Sk. Asef Ali – 2nd in the Shot Put & 3rd in the Discus Throw
2. Adnan Alam – 2nd in the 110m Hurdles
3. Md. Zeeshan Khan – 3rd in the 1500m
4. Abdullah Akhter, Afnaan Iqbal, Adnan Alam & Faraz Rahman – 3rd in the Relay Race

This year the girls also participated in this event and their efforts were applauded by all.
